Jakarta, IO – The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) revealed 9,158 findings containing 15,674 issues amounting to Rp18.37 trillion in state financial statements in the first half of 2022 (H1-2022).
The findings were revealed in the first half auditing result summary (IHPS) of 2022. Most of the problems found were related to legal non-compliance totalling Rp17.33 trillion, reported Katadata on Tuesday (4/10).
They include problems that can result in losses, potential losses and shortfall in revenue. “Due to this problem, during the examination process, the entity followed up by depositing money and/or handing over new assets worth Rp2.41 trillion or 13.9 percent,” said BPK chief Isma Yatun.
IHPS H1-2022 contains 137 results of central government financial audits. Of this, 132 financial statements were granted unqualified opinion (WTP). Financial reports of four ministries/agencies received qualified opinion (WDP), namely Trade Ministry, Manpower Ministry, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), and the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI).
