Jakarta, IO – The Bali Provincial Government’s decision to apply entry tariff for foreign tourists is being finalized.
Bali governor Wayan Koster previously said that he would impose a tariff of Rp150,000 (US$10). The tariff will be evaluated every three years.
Even though it will apply to all foreign travelers, he said exemption may be given to foreign researchers and students.
Koster has yet to provide technical details regarding this policy. He said the policy is still being discussed but he said it will apply to land, sea and air ports.
