She also revealed several promises from presidents, such as Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) who promised to resolve the case until President Jokowi administration. “I remember very well, during the SBY administration I was invited to the Palace as well as during Jokowi’s campaign but to date there is yet any closure,” she said.
“Hopefully in the future our struggle can really produce results and Semanggi I and II gross human rights violations can be brought to the ad-hoc court. Remember, cases of human rights violations cannot be resolved through restorative justice but must go to criminal court,” she stressed.
