Jakarta, IO – Maria Catarina Sumarsih held event in remembrance of 24th anniversary of the Semanggi I tragedy on November 13, 1998 at the Atma Jaya Catholic University’s park, Jakarta, Monday (14/11). The agenda entitled “Claiming State’s Promises: Non-Judiciary Solution is Not a Solution” was attended by dozens of students from various faculties of the university. The mother of Bernardinus Realino Norma Irawan, one of the victims, hopes that this case will finally find closure and the perpetrators brought before an ad-hoc tribunal. (Pramita Hendra)
