Subang, IO – Motorbike riders pass through Java northern coastal highway in Subang, West Java, Monday (8/4). The route has seen exponential growth of traffic volume as exodus travellers are making trips back to their hometown in Central Java and East Java.
Despite the increase in traffic, the flow was observed to be still relatively smooth and orderly. This is because starting from Bekasi regency to Cirebon City, the traffic is quite sparse as traffic police were deployed along the route to manage the flow to minimize congestion.

According to data from Cirebon City Transport Department on Monday (8/4), around 19,658 vehicles have crossed the road leading to Cirebon City. Motorcycles accounted for 17,976. The peak was recorded yesterday where 121,854 vehicles, both four-wheeled and two-wheeled, traversed through the route.
