The surge of traffic has caused traffic jam stretching from the Merak toll gate to Merak Harbor with passengers having to wait for hours to make the crossing. One of the factors that exacerbates the traffic jam is the demand-supply imbalance which is expected to occur until April 9. Passengers said that they have encountered difficulty getting the ferry tickets.
