Jakarta, IO – A number of visitors pray in the Cave of Our Lady Mary at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Prayer Park, Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, Tangerang regency, Banten, Friday (29/12).
The park, inaugurated in May, has become a new religious tourism destination for Christians as well as an alternative place for people who want to find solemn atmosphere and soothe their hearts while taking a break from daily activities.
Upon entering the prayer park, visitors will be greeted by the statues of St. Gregory the Great and St. Emma. Meanwhile, in the middle of this area there is a pool with a statue of Jesus walking on water and a palm-shaped statue depicting him performing miracle to feed 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fishes.
Other monument include a stage based on the scene from the Wedding at Cana, where Jesus is recorded as performing his first miracle when he turned water into wine at a feast. There is also a prayer area, here visitors can enjoy serenity and perform adoration or prayer together by offering flowers and candles at the statue of Jesus Christ and the grotto of the Virgin Mary.

Interestingly, in this park there are also several scenic photo spots and seating areas to relax while enjoying the garden atmosphere. Visitor can also buy spiritual-themed souvenirs like prayer equipment and trinkets made by people with disabilities under the auspices of Deus Caritas Est. The prices range from Rp18,000 to Rp900,000.
