Jakarta, IDM – President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo handed over 2,000 land certificates as part of the government’s legal assitance to the people.
“There are also all the names of the rights holders here, the measurement of the land and others, you can no longer be sued because you already have the proof of land rights, the land certificate,” said Jokowi, per Setkab.go.id, Tue (2/1).
Jokowi also invited the public to use the certificate for other purposes, such as collateral for bank loans. However, he reminded that the certificate should be used wisely, for productive purposes such as seed capital or working capital, instead of satisfying the urge to buy luxury goods.

“I entrust that if you want to use this as bank collateral, please think it through first, please calculate first, whether or not it can be paid in monthly installments,” he added.
“Niku duite bank sanes arta panjenengan (That’s the bank’s money, not yours). If it’s paid off, you can make a profit and save up, go ahead and buy a car. That’s my only messaget.” (bp)
