Jakarta, IO – Residents watch a mesmerizing video mapping attractions and synchronized flight of 500 drones during the New Year’s Eve celebration at the Hotel Indonesia (HI) Roundabout, Jakarta (1/1).
It offers a visual treat for the spectators who thronged the Jakarta’s most famous landmark. The show is one of the highlights of the 2024 New Year celebration series in the city. Apart from that, the water fountain show at the Welcome Statue pool and the roar of firecrackers from various corners added to the excitement of the evening.
The Jakarta Provincial Government through the Creative Economy Tourism Bureau (Parekraf) holds a series of activities to enliven the New Year moment. A total of 11 stages are erected on Jenderal Sudirman and MH Thamrin streets, and the Monas area to entertain the local public and tourists alike.

At its peak, a fireworks display brightens Jakarta’s sky, marking the start of the new year with a spirit of togetherness and joy and leaving unforgettable memories for those who take part in the festive events.
