Jakarta, IO – A number of models strutted down the runway at the Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan (28/3).
This year’s event saw more than 300 local and international designers (among others, Malaysia, Thailand, Italy and Kazakhstan) showcasing their best collections.
The show is themed “Lenggam Jakarta” which according to Association of Indonesian Fashion Designers and Entrepreneurs (APPMI) aims to highlight the diversity of Betawi culture in contemporary art and fashion style. The show will run until March 31.

On the second day, IFW features four events: Tapestry of Culture, a fashion collection from Indonesia Global Halal Fashion x Halal Fabric, Garut Regency x Poppy Dharsono, Eko Tjandra x Dekranasda Ngawi Regency, Apikmen x Mojokerto City, Dekranasda NTB Province x APPMI NTB, Silvera By Rhiana Putri Ngawi and FFF by Ferry x Bank Indonesia KPw Central Sulawesi.
