Jakarta, IO – President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s success in leading and developing Indonesia is being recognized globally. This can be seen from his biography, which has been translated to Spanish.
Titled ‘Jokowi Mewujudkan Mimpi Indonesia’ (Jokowi Makes Indonesia’s Dreams Come True) was launched by Communications and Information Minister Budi Arie Setiadi, on the sidelines of a gathering with Indonesian diaspora in Barcelona, Spain in late February, per Katadata, Tue (5/2).
The biography was first published in 2020 and has been translated to English, Korean and Arabic. The biography summarizes Jokowi’s achievements in various fields. It is published to inspire people through his down-to-earth leadership.
The book written by Darmawan Prasodjo also provides an illustration of Jokowi’s efforts to maintain stable economic growth in Indonesia which is supported by connectivity throughout the vast archipelago.
Budi believes that Jokowi is an important and influential figure in fostering the acceleration of infrastructure development in the country, notably through the digital sector.

“President Joko Widodo has succeeded in transforming Indonesia toward the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045 through equal distribution of digital infrastructure, especially in frontier, outermost and remote (3T) regions,” said Budi.
Budi also noted that Jokowi’s success in developing Indonesia needs to be continued by his successors going forward. (un)
