Charlie Puth’s successful Jakarta concert

Jakarta, IO – American pop singer Charlie Puth successfully held a concert in Indonesia on Sunday (08/10/23), at the Beach City International Stadium, Jakarta. Born in 1991, the talented young man is also a songwriter and music producer, and one who has created many hits, including “Attention”, “See You Again”, “One Call Away”, “We Don’t Talk Anymore”, and “Left and Right”. 

The fans were excited and enthusiastic to see Puth in his live “CHARLIE Live Experience” show. He appeared in a simple unbuttoned shirt that showed off his pure white undershirt and plain jeans, and that was enough. 

Charlie Puth started his concert with his latest single, “Charlie, Be Quiet!”. It is part of his latest album, Charlie, which was released in 2022. 

“This is my first performance after 5 years not visiting Jakarta! Are you all all right toniiight?” he asked at the opening of his Jakarta concert. 

The audience cheered and replied with an enthusiastic “YEEES!!!”

Charlie smiled, said “It is great fun to come back here,” then started the concert by singing “No More Drama”, “Attention”, and “Left and Right”. He went on to describe his joy at returning to Jakarta for his concert: “When I woke up this morning, I smelled that familiar scent of ‘Jakarta’. So let us sing this one together, everyone!” he said as he segued into “Light Switch”, also part of the album Charlie. Naturally, the fans sang along in delight. 

Charlie finally ended his concert with the Fast & Furious movie soundtrack “See You Again”. To accompany the song, the audience sang along with their cellphone flashlights turned on, swaying soulfully with the beat. (des/ast)
