Today (29/7) marks the World Tiger Day, which was first celebrated in 2010.

Gita Bumi Shine Voices successfully upheld our nation’s honor through their victory at the World Choir Games 2023 in Gangneung, Republic of Korea. It achieved the amazing distinction of obtaining both a Gold Medal in the Pop Choir and Jazz Choir categories, rendering it ft for the title “Champion of World Choir Games 2023”. 

The 9th Prambanan Jazz Festival was successfully held for six days, i.e. on 7, 8, 9 and 14, 15, 16 of July 2023. Performed at a proud Indonesian historic site, the Prambanan Temple, its theme of “Magical Experience” was deeply felt. It is a musical, cultural, and performance show masterpiece that PJF Lovers greatly appreciate. 

The Indonesian Embassy in Bangkok collaborated with Walailak University to hold the Indonesian Festival on July 17-18 in a bid to strengthen bilateral relations as well as promote Indonesian culture.

The Labuan Bajo Maritime Festival (LBMF) will be held for the second time on July 27-29 in Pede Beach, Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

Indonesian people have a number of traditions to welcome the Islamic New Year or 1 Muharram which falls on Wednesday (19/7). One of them is the torch parade. This tradition can be found in many parts of Indonesia.
