Jakarta, IO – Barcelona U-18 emerged victorious as the champion of the 2021 International Youth Championship (IYC) after defeating fellow Atletico Madrid U-18 at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Tuesday (9/4).
The two Spanish teams played very impressively, punctuated by the boisterous crowd at JIS making the match even more interesting. Barely a minute into the first half, the Catalans took the lead through Xavier Moreno Hernandes’s quick goal.
This made Atlético U-18 appear even more aggressive. Ros Rojiblancos ramped up the attack. However, Barcelona players calmly neutralize the offensive by Atlético U-18.

Entering the second half, Atlético U-18 launched a barrage of attacks. Barcelona U-18 was sometimes overwhelmed by managed to control the game.
