Jakarta, IO – Trade Ministry’s international trade director general Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana (IWW) faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison after he and three others were named suspects by the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) in alleged corrupt practices in the issuance of CPO exports permit.

The three other suspects are Permata Hijau Group’s senior corporate affairs manager Stanley MA (SMA), PT Wilmar Nabati Indonesia commissioner Master Parulian Tumanggor (MPT) and PT Musim Mas general affairs manager Picare Togar Sitanggang (PT).

“They are suspected of violating Article 2 or 3 of the Anti-Corruption Law,” said AGO’s chief investigator Supardi on Wednesday (20/4), referring to Law 31/1999 as amended by Law 20/2001 on eradication of criminal acts of corruption (tipikor).
