Jakarta, IO – It has been a long wait – one that will lead to a sweet, thirst-quenching moment for Indonesian music lovers, to welcome The Corrs. Ravel Entertainment will present the legendary Irish band, The Corrs, who will perform for their Indonesian fans on October 18, 2023, at Beach City International Stadium in Ancol, Jakarta.
The Corrs siblings’ concert tour will see a reunion of Andrea (lead vocals), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals), and Jim (guitar, piano, vocals) after a long 18-year hiatus.
The quartet, hailed as the most successful family band to emerge from the late 1990s, is scheduled to perform their hit songs “Breathless”, “Runaway”, “What Can I Do”, and “All The Love in The World” for their Indonesian fans. The group’s songs have colored the ‘90s Indonesian generation, particularly The Corrs’ well-composed lyrics, and tunes.
Since its formation in 1990 in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, the band has released seven critically acclaimed albums, including their 1995 debut, Forgiven, Not Forgotten, and their 1997 follow-up, Talk on Corners, their most successful album to date, as well as a number of singles, and 40 million albums have been sold worldwide. The Corrs have won 24 awards from 48 nominations throughout the course of their career, including a BRIT Award for “Best International Band” in 1999 and two Grammy Award nominations in 2001 for “Breathless” and “Rebel Heart.”
The band and its members are also applauded for their philanthropic activities and contributions to various social and humanitarian causes, with some of the world’s biggest artists, while maintaining strong relationships with their fans around the world.
The Corrs’ undoubtedly long career has produced countless hits that linger in the hearts and lives of their fans.
