Actress Kiki Fatmala Dies Aged 56

Jakarta, IO – Kiki Fatmala, a senior Indonesian actress, has died. Kiki’s family informed this sad news via the Instagram account @qq_fatmala, Friday (1/12). She breathed his last breath at the age of 56.

“With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we would like to announce the passing of our beloved Kiki Fatmala who was not only a beloved member of our family but also a friend known to many people,” the post read.

“Kiki Fatmala passed away on December 1 at the age of 56 due to complications caused by cancer.”

Kiki Fatmala is an actress and model born on August 14, 1967. Her career on the big screen began with the films “Permainan di Balik Tirai” and “Malu-malu Mau” with comedy troupe Warkop DKI in 1988, per Liputan6.

Together with Warkop DKI member, Dono Kasino Indro, she also scored a number of box office hits through the films she starred in. During that era, Kiki was the most famous Warkop supporting actress.

Kiki’s career remained impressive in the 1990s. She is still popular in the Indonesian film scene, starring in a number of films such as “Gadis Malam,” and “Misteri di Malam Pengantin.”
