Jakarta, IO – Several areas in Bali were hit by flash floods and landslides on Monday (17/10). At least six regencies were affected, namely Karangasem, Jembrana, Tabanan, Bangli, Gianyar and Badung, according to the official Instagram account of Bali Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) @bpdbbali, Wednesday (19/10).
“As a result, six people were killed, one in Jembrana, three in Karangasem, one in Bangli and one in Tabanan. The property damage is around Rp3,113,000,000,” Bali BPBD wrote.
Bali BPBD chief I Made Rentin said the main road from Denpasar to Gilimanuk and vice versa, which was previously paralyzed by debris has been cleaned up and reopened for traffic through traffic management.
