Jakarta, IO – Jakarta Metropolitan Police Department criminal investigation director Hengki Haryadi revealed that the death of Tri Fattah Firadus, 23, an officer at West Jakarta Immigration Office, who fell from an apartment in Ciledug, Tangerang, was a homicide. The perp is a South Korean citizen named Kim Dal Joong.
The police reached this conclusion after conducting a crime scene investigation, interviewing witnesses and consulting with a number of experts, per detikcom, Wed (20/12).
Tri died after falling from the 19th floor on Friday (25/10) after he met Kim Dal Joong in the apartment.
The night before the unfortunate incident, Tri and another immigration officer picked up Kim Dal Joong and Hendar at former’s apartment and they went to a nightclub. Police said there was an incident at a nightclub that injured Kim Dal Jong’s hand.
“But the commotion was not with the victim but with another colleague of Hendar. At the entertainment venue, the perpetrator Kim Dal Joong, broke a glass and injured his hand,” said Hengki.

After that, Kim Dal Jong and Tri returned to the apartment, as seen from the CCTV footage.
“At that time the victim went up once, then came down again, then the second time he carried the suspect,” explained Hengki.
“The digital forensics team has analyzed the time Tri and Kim entered the apartment. After that, a witness, a security guard of the apartment, heard glass breaking. Not long after that, he found Tri lying dead on the ground. (rr)
