Jakarta, IO – The government invites the public to contribute in selecting the emblem of Indonesia’s new capital city (IKN) Nusantara.
IKN Authority said that the new capital city, part of the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045, is set to become the new hub of innovation and economic growth in Indonesia.
According to a release received by Observerid.com, Wednesday (5/4), the public can vote through the link https://ikn.go.id/pilihlogonusantara.
Here one can see several options with the designers’ profile along with brief explanation of the concept. The voting is open from April 4 to May 20.
IKN Authority Head Bambang Susantono said the open voting aims to involve the Indonesian people in the process of capital city relocation from Jakarta to Nusantara in East Kalimantan.

“Nusantara belongs to and is the pride of all Indonesian people, and is being built for the progress of the Indonesian nation,” said Bambang as reported by Viva.
The government has also prepared prizes where 10 lucky winners will get electric motorbikes personally signed by President Joko Widodo. (un)
