Indonesian embassy promotes new capital Nusantara through festival in Bulgaria

Jakarta, IO – The Indonesian government continues to promote the new administrative capital Nusantara in various parts of the world through the country’s ambassadors.

The Indonesian Embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria also took part in this drive. Ambassador Iwan Bogananta said Nusantara will be promoted during the Indonesian Festival in Plodiv in June, reported Antara, Monday (13/3).

“We are going to promote Nusantara as a forest city, smart and sustainable city,” said Iwan. The festival will feature Ethnocestra by Erwin Gutawa, with Jay Subiakto as its art director.

Iwan said the festival would be held at the Roman Theater of Philippopolis, an ancient Roman theater in downtown Plovdiv on June 8. Ten thousand visitors are expected to attend. (un)
