Jakarta, IO – Justyn Vicky, a bodybuilder from Bali, died after failing to lift a 210-kilogram barbell in a freak accident.
The incident occurred at The Paradise Bali Gym on July 15. At that time, Justyn was exercising. In a viral video, he was seen doing a squat with a barbell on his shoulders, per detikcom, Monday (24/7).
The fitness influencer seemed struggling to stand upright and fell back into a sitting position, which resulted in the barbell snapping his neck.
The accident left Justyn with a broken neck and critical pressure on his vital organs including heart and lungs. He was rushed to the hospital, but died shortly after being treated.
