Jakarta, IO – Stretching for 500 meters, Surabaya Street in Menteng, Central Jakarta is bristling with vendors selling antiques, hence the name Surabaya Antique Market.
This market has been the go-to place for locals and foreign tourists hunting for antique objects, usually for house decorations.

According to the traders there, they have been around since 1970. There are about 120 traders who sell a wide array of antiques from old vinyl records, carved ceramics, vintage kitchen utensils made of stone and clay, jade jewelry, to crystal chandeliers. The prices range from Rp500,000 to tens of millions of rupiah.
