Jakarta, IO – Saudi Princess Lolwah binti Muhammed Bin Abdullah Al Saud became a victim of fraud by two Indonesian citizens (WNI). The loss is estimated to reach hundreds of billions of rupiah, reported CNN Indonesia, Tuesday (24/1).
The fraud began after the princess met with Eka Augusta Herriyani in 2008 when he worked for a Malaysian company, in which Princess Lolwah was one of the shareholders.
In 2009, Princess Lolwah came to Bali to invest. She was then introduced to Evie Marindo Christina, who claimed to be able to help with licensing process in Indonesia. In 2010, Princess Lolwah asked Eka to look for a suitable location to build a villa.
A year later, Eka and Evie informed the princess that they have found a piece of land in Gianyar regency. She checked the location and agreed.
