Eka then asked the princess to transfer the money to buy the land and construct the villa. She then sent the money in several transfers from April 2011 to September 2018 totalling Rp505.5 billion.

The money was used to buy seven plots of land and begin the villa construction. However, the villa was never completed. Instead, the remaining money was used by Eka and Evie for personal use, such as buying land and cars.

Princess Lolwah also lost Rp7 billion in an effort to build a restaurant in Badung regency. The building never materialized, even later it was found out that the land was not for sale.

Eka and Evie were sentenced to 19 years in prison for committing money laundering on top of four years in prison for violating Penal Code Article 372 on embezzlement and Article 378 on fraud based on the verdict of Gianyar District Court issued on October 20, 2020. (un)
