Jakarta, IO – Armed criminal group (KKB) in Papua is committing violence again. This time they shot dead an employee of Sinak branch of Bank Papua in Puncak regency, Central Papua, Tuesday (13/12).
“The shooting in Sinak happened at 9 a.m. this morning in Sinak market, Gigobak village. It was carried out by the KKB,” said Papua Police spokesperson Chief Commissioner Ahmad Mustofa Kamal, reported Detik, Tuesday (13/12).
The victim was identified as Darius Julius Yumame, 32. He was shot when he was buying yellow rice for breakfast. He died from a gunshot wound to his head. His body has been brought to Sinak community health center to be later transported to Mimika.

“Because of the bad weather, the transportation to Mimika was delayed,” said Ahmad. The police have launched a manhunt to find those responsible for the shooting. (rr)
