Jakarta, IO – The 19th edition of BNI-sponsored Java Jazz Festival will be held again from May 24-26. This year it will feature a number of Indonesian and international stars. The musical event is increasingly popular, especially among the young people. Most of the audience now are aged between 20-30, as opposed to 35-40 when it started 20 years ago.
The musicians scheduled to perform include Laufey, Snoh Aalegra, Incognito, Scary Pockets, Brian Simpson, Erwin Gutawa, Afgan, Tompi, Fariz RM, Maliq & D’Essential, Marcello Tahitoe, and many more. Besides jazz, the festival also features other genres such as R&B, soul, pop and funk, making it more appealing to wider audience base.
