Titi DJ’s look in a black gown enhanced her magical voice, and the audience sang along to her songs. Titi performed for 60 minutes at the Java Jazz Festival, from 6.30 to 7.30 p.m. She also sang “Sang Dewi,” a song that everyone was waiting for. Titi ended her stage with “Ekspresi,” a fast-beat song that got everyone dancing and jumping.
Laufey’s mesmerizing performance
The Java Jazz Festival audience had been waiting for Laufey, an Icelandic solo vocalist, for more than two hours in front of the Teh Botol Sosro Hall door.
The door finally opened at 9.30 p.m. when 5,000 fans rushed forward to get in and crowd the room, with some fans voluntarily standing up for the whole concert when the supposedly provided seats ran out.
The audience cheerfully welcomed and greeted Laufey, the 24-year-old singer, who even admitted that the fans had astonished and surprised her. “You are such a crazy crowd; I’m shaking up here when I see everyone. Thank you for coming tonight, Jakarta!” remarked Laufey as she started her show.

Laufey’s fans were instantly carried away by her soothing voice. She began the gig with “Fragile,” featuring an incredible play of guitar and piano. Her other songs, “Valentine,” “James,” “Beautiful Stranger,” and “I Wish You Love,” followed.
She went on to sing “Let You Break My Heart Again,” the song that catapulted her to fame. Laufey also disclosed the new tracks coming up on her future album. (un)
