Jakarta, IO – Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (SHIA) made it onto the list of the most family-friendly airports in the world in 2023 according to The Family Vacation Guide.
The list names the most family and child friendly airports out of 77 international airports in the world. SHIA took the top eighth position, per Kompas, Thu (22/11).
A number of criteria were used to assess the airports, including punctuality of flights, flight cancellations, the number of cafeterias, activity services and unlimited free WiFi.

In Top 10, perching at the top spot is the Mexico City International Airport. The second and third places were bagged by JFK International Airport in New York City and O’Hare International Airport in Illinois.
Meanwhile, SHIA (8th) managed to beat Changi Airport in Singapore which sits in 10th place. SHIA scored 61 percent for on-time departures, 11 percent for flight cancellations, has 92 cafeterias, 45 percent for airport activity services, and has unlimited free WiFi.
