Jakarta, IO – Trumpet sales ahead of the 2024 New Year celebrations are starting to get busy in the Glodok area, Jakarta, Wednesday (27/12).
Seasonal trumpet sellers began peddling their ware on the roadside stalls since D-7. During the 2020 New Year celebration, they claimed to be able to reap millions of rupiah in revenue.
Trumpets prices vary, depending on design and size, ranging from Rp10,000 to Rp25,000 for a gas-powered ones. Usually the peak of sales would occur on D-4 or D-3.

They were accompanied by fireworks sellers who were busy serving customers looking to light up the New Year eve. The fireworks sell from Rp45,000 for small-sized ones to millions of rupiah for the ones with larger shells.
