Prabowo Signs MoU of Collaboration with the World’s Best Football Academy, Aspire

Jakarta, IO – Prabowo Subianto as chairman of the board of patrons of the Garudayaksa Football Academy, signed a cooperation agreement with Aspire Academy from Qatar at GBK Stadium, Jakarta, Monday (8/1).

Arriving at 3.30pm WIB, Prabowo immediately greeted the U-20 National Team who were practicing. He then went to the podium to sign the MoU with the director of Aspire Academy, Ivan Bravo.

Prabowo said that the collaboration will be valid for five years. During that time, its implementation will be regularly reviewed, and there is the possibility of being extended.

“This is a long-term collaboration agreement. Every five years it will be reviewed and extended,” said Prabowo.

The aim of the collaboration is to produce a professional national team that is ready to compete to represent the country at a higher level competitions on the international stage. In particular, by improving the quality of coaching starting from talent scouting, selection to provision of sports medicine.

According to him, this collaboration is a good starting point to achieve the long-term mission of being able to compete in the World Cup. Also present were the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) chairman Erick Thohir, national team coach Indra Sjafri and Garudayaksa Football Academy CEO Dusan Bognadovic.
