Jakarta, IO – Central Jakarta General Elections Commission (KPU) officers arranged the ballot boxes to be used in the 2024 Elections at a warehouse in Sawah Besar, Monday (6/11). The office received the first-phase logistics in in the form of 2,090 ballot boxes and 1,640 voting booths. It ensures that all logistics for GE2024 will arrive on time, on November 10 at the latest.
So far, there are no significant obstacles in the logistics distribution as the office is relatively close to the supplier’s locations in Tanjung Priok and Tangerang. The procurement was previously done through a contract between KPU and the National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP).

After the first stage is complete, procurement for the second-phase will commence after the permanent candidate list (DCT) which contains the names of the candidates is finalized. Based on KPU Regulation 3/2022, nominations for members of the Regional Representative Council (DPD), House of Representatives (DPR), and Regional Legislative Councils at the provincial and regency/city level will be completed on November 25.
