Jakarta, IO – PDI-P secretary general Hasto Kristiyanto defended his dissertation titled “Soekarno’s Discourse on Geopolitical Thought and Its Relevance to National Defense” at the Indonesian Defense University (Unhan) Open Promotion Session in Sentul, Bogor, West Java, Monday (6/6), witnessed by a number of officials including Lemhanas Governor Andi Widjajanto and Social Affairs Minister Tri Rismaharini.
Hasto is a doctorate student at the university. He completed the program in two years. Interestingly, one of his examiners was the fifth president of the Republic of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri. Megawati said that she would ask Hasto difficult questions.
This made Hasto feel nervous from the start. “I am nervous, even more so when I heard Bu Mega said she would ask very difficult questions,” said Hasto, as reported by Antara, Monday (6/6).
