Jakarta, IO – Residents ride the light rail transit (LRT) from Dukuh Atas to Cawang, Jakarta, Monday (28/8). People living in Jakarta and its suburbs Bekasi, Depok and Bogor can now enjoy the rail-based mass transportation.
As seen at Dukuh Atas Station, a number of residents made up of office workers, young people, to the elderly came to try out the driverless train, priced at only Rp5,000 until the end of September.
The travel time between stations varies between 1-3 minutes, depending on the distance. The train will stop at each station for about 1 minute, except the last one.

The LRT trains operate from 5am to 11:30pm WIB, and are expected to make 434 trips daily ferrying as many as 1,308 passengers.
