BBC Reports Members of Animal Abuse Video Network Members Include Indonesians

Jakarta, IO – The BBC has concluded their year-long investigation of a network of animal abuse videos involving monkeys – and a number of Indonesian citizens are found to take part in the vile deed.

The network produced videos of monkeys being tortured and murdered, and sold the videos to psychopaths located in countries as diverse as the US, UK, and throughout Asia.

According to Detik, Friday, (30/06/2023) the BBC World Service reported how these demons requested money-grubbers from Indonesia and other Asian countries to record themselves torturing and/or murdering long-tailed monkeys, especially babies. These sadists used screwdrivers, hammers, and pliers to hurt and kill the poor creatures .

The network performed their operations online groups in social media platforms like Telegram and Facebook. Some of these groups are massive, with more than 1,000 members. Facebook has deleted some of the groups reported to them by the BBC World Service and in turn forwarded the info to the police, while Telegram declared that they are “committed to protect the privacy of (their) users and basic human rights, such as the right to speak freely”, and that “moderators cannot proactively patrol private groups.”

YouTube has likewise declared formally that they have deleted videos that clearly depicting animal abuse.

Refusing to let things slide, British and Indonesian law enforcement immediately investigated this global network of murder and torture. The US Department of National Security also performed a separate investigation of this case.

BBC identified Mike McCartney of Virginia, also known as the “Torture King”, as the primary distributor dari Virginia. There is also Stacey Storey, an Alabama woman toasted by the sick community as “Sadistic”, and another character called “Mr Ape”. These are the primary persons of interest in the investigation.

At last count, 20 people across the globe were detained and questioned, including three British women who were ultimately released by the local police.

Meanwhile, Indonesian authorities have arrested and charged two persons on the charge of animal abuse for money: Asep Yadi Nurul Hikmah and M. Ajis Rasjana. Unfortunately, they are only given brief imprisonment sentences of three years and eight months respectively. (rr)
