Jakarta, IO – Three pairs of Indonesian men’s doubles badminton players progressed from the round of 32 of the Indonesia Masters 2024 held at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Tuesday (23/1).
They are Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana. In the preliminary match, Leo/Daniel, ranked 11th, managed to win in straight games over Germany’s Mark Lamsfuss/Marvin Seidel with 21-16 and 21-17.

This was followed by Fajar/Rian who managed to beat Taiwan’s Lee Jhe-Huei/Yang Po-Hsuan with 21-16 and 21-14 and Bagas/Fikri who stunned in China’s Chen Bo Yang/Liu Yi in a rubber game victory with 21-16, 17-21 and 21-17.
