Bekasi, IO – Persija Jakarta succeeded in getting a 1-0 win in an international friendly match against Ratchaburi FC at the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi City, Sunday (26/06/2023).
Persija’s sole goal against the Thai club was made by Riko Simanjutak in the 58th minute, by making proper use of Ryo Matsumura’s assist shot.
The teams fought fiercely, relentlessly attacking each other until Persija’s goal at the end. The match was obstructed because of an electrical blackout at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium just as the match was 15 minutes in. The match was recommenced more than an hour later, when the lights finally went back on.

Despite it being a friendly match, neither Persija nor Ratchaburi gave an inch: both fought as if they were trying to win a tournament cup in a final game. Good show to both teams!
