Artworks by disabled artists displayed at Transjakarta BRT

Jakarta, IO – Disabled artists from the Jakarta Outsider Art Community painted the body of a Transjakarta bus in the company’s head office in Cawang, East Jakarta, Wednesday (1/12). The activity was attended by 15 participants aged 10-26. One of the activists, Timotius Suwarsito, explained that the activity was a form of appreciation and a campaign for works by disabled artists so their contributions can be acknowledged by the general public. The Jakarta Outsider Art Community itself has been active for five years and has a total of 80 members from Jakarta and Bekasi. (Septo Kun Wijaya)
