Jakarta, IO – Playboox.id, an Indonesian entertainment platform, proudly announces an exclusive concert, “Playboox 2024,” presenting alternative rock band “The Fray” and an American indie pop band, “Echosmith”, under the theme “Mempertemukan Jakarta.”
The concert will take place at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno area, Jakarta, on June 8, 2024, supported by PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta).
The Fray, made up of Joe King (guitar, vocals), Dave Welsh (guitar), and Ben Wysocki (drums), is famous for passionate songs such as “Over You,” “How to Save a Life,” and “You Found Me.” The band was nominated for a Grammy in 2010. Their fourth album, Helios, was released in February 2014 by Epic Records.
Echosmith consists of siblings Sydney (vocals, keyboard), Noah (bass, vocals, production), and Graham Sierota (drums). The band is famous for their hits like “Cool Kids,” “Counting Stars,” and “Goodbye, Goodbye.” The band has received various awards, including an MTV Video Music Award and a Teen Choice Award.
Playboox 2024 is slated to be Indonesian fans’ rare opportunity to see The Fray and Echosmith perform live on the same stage. This concert promises to be a night full of amazing tunes and great moments.
Bambang Parikesit, Director of Playboox.id, stated that Playboox. id is committed to providing memorable entertainment, including concerts and other musical events, for Indonesian music enthusiasts. “This time, Playboox.id is organizing Playboox 2024, featuring two renowned bands, The Fray and Echosmith, ‘Mempertemukan Jakarta’ (Bringing Jakarta Together),” said Bambang.
The Plaboox will also become an annual event featuring renowned local and international bands. “We believe that Playboox will be the most anticipated concert in Indonesia,” Bambang added.
