Quoting from SPOTV News and confirmed by their agency, SM Entertainment, “GOT the Beat is preparing for their comeback in January. We invite your enthusiasm and support,” wrote SM Entertainment in its official statement.
The members have also finished shooting their new MV, where they would present their new charms, different from their previous performance in Step Back. Their fans, who can no longer wait for their latest performance, instantly responded positively.
This upcoming comeback would be GOT the Beat’s first comeback after debuting on January 3, 2022, with their single, “Step Back.” The single is an addictive hip-hop and R&B track that topped the music charts following its release. The single “Step Back” earned GOT the Beat two awards on weekly music shows, the SBS music program ‘Inkigayo’ and the Mnet music program ‘M Countdown.’ They made a free special appearance at the SMTOWN before their official debut on January 1, 2022.
GOT the Beat has attracted K-Pop fans since their first appearance, as they were SM Entertainment Girls on Top’s (GOT) first unit project. The rest of SM Entertainment’s female artists also planned to join different units.
