Jakarta, IO – Live Nation, TEM Presents, and PK Entertainment have announced their latest project: a concert by unstoppable hitmaker and 14 GRAMMY award-winning artist Bruno Mars – returning to Indonesia on September 13 and 14, 2024, at the Jakarta International Stadium.

This statement coincides with the news of his 14 monumental shows in Brazil, which are slated for October.

Tickets for both days are available at Presale Mandiri on June 27 and 28, while regular sales will start on June 29. Make sure to not miss one of Jakarta’s biggest concerts this year.

Bruno Mars, a renowned singer, songwriter, producer, and fourteen-time Grammy Award-winning musician with thirty nominations, has sold over 200 million singles worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. Mars recently won the Album of the Year award for the duo “An Evening with Silk Sonic” at the 2022 BET Awards. His duet with Anderson Paak swept the 64th Grammy Awards, taking home four awards, including Record of the Year for “Leave the Door Open” for Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song. This achievement came after “Leave the Door Open” became Bruno’s 17th multi-Platinum single.

Mars became the second artist in Grammy history to win Record of the Year three times, joining Simon and Garfunkel. The critically acclaimed “Leave the Door Open” rose from No. 3 to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming his seventh No. 1 single. He became one of 18 artists in Hot 100 history to achieve this.

“24K Magic” marked his highest first-week sales debut, remaining in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 for an impressive 44 consecutive weeks and was certified four times platinum by the RIAA. His follow-up single, “That’s What I Like,” was awarded six times platinum and became No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking Mars’s seventh Hot 100 chart-topper and his first No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart, where it stayed at the top for 19 consecutive weeks. His outstanding collaboration with Cardi B, “Finesse,” skyrocketed from #35 to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, mirroring Michael Jackson’s “Black or White.” This remix also marked Mars’s fifteenth Hot 100 top 10 and his fourteenth Hot 100 top 5.

Mars became the first male artist and the third artist overall to have the top 5 Hot 100 hits from all his first three albums, following only Mariah Carey and Beyoncé. Bruno is also the first artist to have two songs spend 24 weeks or more in the Top 5 of the Hot 100: “That’s What I Like” and “Uptown Funk.” This makes him the only artist with both a four-time platinum and a sixtime platinum single from the same album, especially with his ability to write and produce most of his songs. Mars ranks No. 1 among male artists, with the most frequent placing first in the Hot 100 No. 1s of the decade, over Justin Bieber, Drake, Eminem, and The Weekend.

From 2017 to 2018, Mars toured on the massive 24K Magic World Tour, selling over a million tickets in just one day. In 2015, Bruno ruled the music charts with his smash hit “Uptown Funk,” which earned him three Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year. (des/ast)
