Jakarta, IO – A group of Army (TNI AD) soldiers took part in the preparation for the operation to secure the 2024 elections at the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta, Wednesday (08/11).
This measure aims to ensure their preparedness in maintaining security and guaranteeing the success of the 2024 elections. In an effort to maintain national stability, they are committed to preventing potential conflict and national disintegration that may arise due to political polarization.
The Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (KSAD) Gen. Agus Subiyanto personally presided over the rehearsal. It was also attended by officials from the General Elections Commission (KPU) and Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Jakarta Province, as well as representatives from political parties participating in the elections.

As many as 15 regional military commands (Kodam) across Indonesia also participated via video conference and 115,000 soldiers who were put on standby. This is proof of the Army’s commitment to discharge its duties with efficiency and effectiveness in order to maintain peace and smooth running of the 2024 elections.
