Jakarta, IO – Anies-Muhaimin, Prabowo-Gibran, Ganjar-Mahfud signed the 2024 Peaceful Election Campaign declaration at the General Elections Commission (KPU) office, Jakarta, Mon (27/11).
The event was officially opened by KPU chairman Hasyim Asyari and marked by a flag parade of the 18 political parties participating in the 2024 Elections.
Interestingly, the parade was awarded by the Indonesian Museum of World Records (MURI) for the longest relay of flags to educate the public on peaceful election in each of the 38 provinces. The MURI record was handed over directly by its founder Jaya Suprana.

On this occasion, the three candidate pairs also declared their commitment to hold peaceful and fair elections.
The 2024 presidential election campaign season is scheduled to take place from November 28 until February 10, 2024. During this period, KPU will hold five debates in accordance KPU Decree 1621/2023 on technical guidelines for the implementing of general election campaigns.
