Jakarta, IO – Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka arrived at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno Complex, on the morning of October 25th to declare their candidacy for the 2024–2029 Presidential and Vice Presidential terms. Thousands of supporters swarming the Indonesia Arena joyfully greeted Prabowo and Gibran.
The Chairman of the Koalisi Indonesia Maju Party also attended the Declaration Event, beginning with the arrival of the Chairman of the Bulan Bintang Party, Yusril Ihza Mahendra; the Chairman of the Gelora Party, Anis Matta; the Chairman of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto; the Chairman of the Demokrat Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono; and the Chairman of the Solidaritas Indonesia Party (PSI), Kaesang Pangarep.
Following the declaration, the Prabowo-Gibran pair and the convoy rode in a bus, headed to the Election Commission (KPU) through Suropati Park, with the remainder of the chairpersons of the Koalisi Indonesia Maju Party.

From Suropati Park, the Prabowo-Gibran pair switched vehicles, moving into a “Maung,” one of PT Pindad’s tactical vehicles, while heading to the KPU. Prabowo-Gibran officially submitted the necessary documents for their 2024 presidential candidacy to the Chairman of the KPU, Hasyim Asyari, supported by all the chairpersons of the Koalisi Indonesia Maju political parties.
