Jakarta, IO – A number of workers are working on the revitalization project of the Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park (TMII) in East Jakarta, Wednesday (20/7).
The progress to renovate the sprawling cultural theme park has reached around 70 percent. Home Minister Tito Karnavian revealed that the government needed around Rp50 billion to overhaul a number of attractions that were reported damaged at the park built during the Soeharto administration in 1972.
The revitalization of the regional pavilion is in line with the comprehensive master plan of TMII, which the government expects to complete around the end of July, just before the G20 Summit which Indonesia hosts this year. (Muhammad Hidayat)
