Jakarta, IO – Police personnel took part in the 77th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony at the Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Saturday (1/7).
Themed “Polri Presisi Untuk Negeri, Pemilu Damai Menuju Indonesia Maju,” it highlights Indonesia’s wealth and diversity of cultures, ethnic groups and religions united under the slogan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika and supported by the synergy between the National Police and National Armed Forces to maintain unity in the run-up to 2024 general elections towards.
The ceremony was attended by President Joko Widodo who also acted as the ceremony inspector, and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo and TNI Commander Adm. Yudo Margono.

In his message, the president reminded of the importance for the National Police to maintain public trust and satisfaction in the discharge of the duties to protect and serve the community.
