Jakarta, IO – Malaysian national football team coach, Kim Pan-gon, predicted that the Indonesian national team under the tutelage of Shin Tae-yong will become the “king” in Asean.
He said this after the team nicknamed “Garuda” managed to be the only Asean team to advance to the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification.
“In my view, Indonesia will be a big team here in the near future. They are trying really hard,” said Kim Pan-gon, per Suara, Friday (14/6).
Indonesia defeated the Philippines 2-0 in the final second-round match of Group F at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Senayan, Tuesday (11/6).
