Jakarta, IO – The Indonesian national football team played Tanzania in a trial match at Madya Stadium, Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Sunday (2/6). Both teams created many chances during the 90 minutes, but neither managed to score.

An intense clash took place from the early minutes. In the fifth minute, the visiting team had a chance through Abraham’s shot which but was saved by Ernando Ari. Indonesia responded with a header from Shayne Pattynama but it was saved by Ally Salim. In the 24th minute, Rafael Struick failed to take advantage of a golden opportunity in a one-on-one position with Salim. Marselino’s shot in the 36th minute was also saved by Salim.

In the second half, not many opportunities were created in the first 10 minutes. In the 58th minute, Adi Satryo thwarted the Tanzania’s chances brilliantly. Marselino’s action on the left resulted in a pass but unfortunately Egy Maulana Vikri’s shot hit the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Dimas Drajad’s header was saved by goalkeeper Yona Amos. Until the end of the match, no goals were created.

This match is a warm-up for Indonesia before the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (AFC) in Group F against Iraq and the Philippines on June 6 and 11.
