JIP enhances telecommunication infrastructure in 55 rental flats across DKI Jakarta

Jakarta, IO – PT Jakarta Infrastruktur Propertindo (JIP) states its commitment to supporting the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s projects by collaborating with the DKI Jakarta Province’s Department of People’s Housing and Settlement Areas (DPRKP). This collaboration is supported by the Regional Asset Management Agency of DKI Jakarta Province (BPAD) through the Jakarta Asset Management Centre (JAMC) and was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Department of People’s Housing and Settlement Areas of DKI Jakarta Province and JIP. This signing of the collaboration took place in the JAMC Meeting Room, focusing on optimizing telecommunication infrastructure services at 55 points in the Rental Flats (Rusunawa) across DKI Jakarta Province. 

As a subsidiary of the Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) in the fields of information technology, communication (ITC), telecommunications, and digital business, JIP aspires to enhance the utilization of regional assets. The collaboration focuses on improving the telecommunications network, including exploring potential collaborations with other businesses in the vicinity of the Rental Flats (Rusunawa). 

Afan Adriansyah Idris, Acting Head of the Department of People’s Housing and Settlement Areas of DKI Jakarta Province, mentioned that the collaboration is a strategic step in managing regional assets effectively, especially low-cost apartments (Rusunawa). 

“Utilizing regional assets for telecommunications infrastructure aims to improve the quality of public services. Collaboration with JIP is expected to produce sustainable and beneficial solutions for the community, especially the residents and the surrounding residents of the apartment complexes,” he said. 

On the occasion, Ifan Mohammad Firmansyah, Head of the Jakarta Asset Management Centre (JAMC) Unit, extended his appreciation for PT Jakarta Infrastruktur Propertindo’s (JIP’s) strategic collaboration with the Department of People’s Housing and Settlement Areas. “This collaboration aligns with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government’s initiatives to effectively manage regional assets and increase regional revenue and the quality of public services for the community,” stated Ifan. 

Acting CEO of PT Jakarta Infrastruktur Propertindo, Ivan Cahya Permana, stated the collaboration between the Department of People’s Housing and Settlement Areas of DKI Jakarta Province and the Regional Asset Management Agency of DKI Jakarta (BPAD), through JAMC, will efficiently utilize Jakarta Provincial Government assets. “This time we will target 55 points of rental flats (Rusunawa) in the DKI Jakarta Province. In addition to strengthening the telecommunications network in the DKI Jakarta Rental Flats, this project will also exert positive economic and social impacts,” said Ivan.

JIP previously supplied telecommunication infrastructure services in rental flats through collaboration with various strategic partners, which effectively offered the tenants a high-speed internet connection. JIP improved digital connectivity through its commercial-based service (JAKI Net) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, Jakwifi. 

“This collaboration allows us to provide better telecommunication services to the flat residents and their surrounding community. The support of the Jakarta Provincial Government will create a more connected and modern rental flat environment,” concluded Ivan. (des)
