Ramadhista Akbar, Indonesian musician – Releasing his solo single

Jakarta, IO – Guitarist Ramadhista Akbar, known as a member of the band Nidji, released a solo single titled “Seek Happiness.” 

“’Seek Happiness’ is a composition that tells about the journey to find happiness, where everyone has a different level of measurement, because our own minds create where levels are sufficient,” said Rama, in a press release. 

In working on this single, Rama worked together with Iswara Giovani as arranger and multi-instrument, then the mixing process by Ano Stevano, with mastering by Pete Maher. Artwork and video visuals were done by SALT. 

“Seek Happiness” is an old song, written by Rama in 2016, then refined in 2021. The release of this single is on Rama’s birthday, June 6, 2023. 

“This time I tried to release a work for myself. The song I created in 2016 which was then recorded and perfected in 2021,” said Rama. 

Rama hopes that his worries as a musician can be conveyed through a work. “Hopefully, I can continue to convey my concerns as a musician through my work, both individually and as a group,” he said. Rama and Nidji’s music genre revolves around alternative rock music, post-Britpop, Britpop and electronic rock. 

Muhammad Ramadhista Akbar, born June 6, 1984, is a musician and radio broadcaster from Indonesia who is known as the guitarist for the band Nidji. The man who is familiarly called Rama admitted that his guitar playing was inspired by 2 great musicians: Ahmad Dhani and Iwan Fals.
